This exhibition brings together the work of Ghislaine and Michael Howard and their daughter Cordelia.

Ghislaine is a nationally acclaimed artist whose work charts and records shared human experience. She often finds inspiration for her large dramatic figure paintings in the unguarded moments of everyday life. Ghislaine is one of the twelve women artists featured in the book A Colourful Canvas, which can be purchased on this website.

Michael, originally trained as a painter, is a lecturer in Art History at Manchester Metropolitan University. He is also an author of many acclaimed art books.

Cordelia is an actor, painter and performer, best known to Manchester audiences as the dramatic lead singer of the band Beat Girl. She has painted since she was a small child.
